What to do when a shabby bank “out East” goes up for sale in Sarasota? Buy it and transform it into a restaurant. Fill it with locally sourced Caribbean and Creole flavors, name it something a little outlandish like Madfish Grill, and open it as the first locally owned mom-and-pop seafood restaurant in the neighborhood.

Over two decades later, our eclectic eatery has evolved and we are thrilled to please the palates of regulars and newbies alike.
